Katie McCreary

Soprano

Kathryn McCreary (Musica Viva NY). Kathryn is a singer, actor and puppeteer. She most recently starred off Broadway in “Rescue Rue” performing and puppeteering the role of Ms. Gladys, a kooky fairy Dog Mother. Kathryn toured internationally with The Phantom of the Opera as a Carlotta cover. Kathryn was featured as one of the three girlfriends in Encores! “The NewYorkers,” the reconstructed Cole Porter musical at City Center. She also is a founding member of the “All’s Well Sisters” a Boswell Sisters inspired Jazz Trio. She was the 2019 Musical Theater winner of the American Traditions Vocal Competition as well as a Regional Met Competition finalist. In addition to Musica Viva NY, Katie sings with multiple choirs around New York, including Musica Sacra, the cathedral choir at St. John the Divine, Voices of Ascension, the Temple Emanu-el Choir, and ASO. You can find her every Sunday singing in the All Souls choir. She wants to thank her family (John, Dewey and Kleo) and the All Souls/ Musica Viva NY choir who lift her soul every week.
